Clean and Simple cards is a look that resonates with many people.  Today, learn how to make the simplest of cards with this how-to video and tutorial.  This project was made for the CAS this Sketch Challenge #82 using the Wetlands stamp set by Stampin’ Up!.

The sketch is quite simple, so I kept the card simple:

  1. Hi,
thank you very much for your video.
I love the stamps set so much.
The one-layer-card is new for me – but it looks so nice, I want to try it too. 😍

Do you use a non permanent clue for the masking picture? 😮

I am very new in this hobby. But it brings so much fun in my life :-).

Thank you, have a nice day and warmest greetings from a cold town in Germany,

    Katrin

    • Hi Katrin – I use two – Zig two way glue: You allow it to dry clear and then it’s like a post it. If it’s wet, it’s permanent (blue). I also use Hermafix dotto, it’s repositionable at first.

I’m glad you are having fun – it’s a great hobby!! Once layer cards are so much fun. Hopefully it’s not too cold today! 🙂

  2. Oh, this is wonderful! I love how you coloured these in! Fabulous take on the sketch!

  3. Lynn Lipchak says:

I have fallen in love with your masking and sponging technique. I love simple and I love to send a lot of mail. With all the “fu-fu” being shown lately, one would have to hand a card, enclose in a box or padded envelope and go broke on postage. This is EXACTLY what I have been searching for. Thanks so much for sharing.

  7. Thanks Ingrid. That was the best video for sponging that I’ve ever seen! I think that I can actually recreate the goose now in the Wetlands setting.
