Distressed Dots Simplicity

My nephew Matt just got engaged to his soul mate Rebecca the other day.  🙂 I needed a quick and simple card to pop in the mail to congratulate them and here is the result.

I love Clean and Simple (CAS) cards.  There is nothing better than just a good quick card.  Even better, one that happens to use up some scraps that I had lying around.  This card is cute, vibrant and easy to pull together in five minutes.

The Distressed Dots background stamp is a must have in my book, because nothing has to be perfectly stamped.  That’s the nature of the distressed part.  It’s meant to look that way!  I used a square punch to achieve the banner ends on all the scraps that I used.

I popped the Sweet Essentials saying up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few paper piercing finishing touches using the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack.
