World Card Making Day 2012

World Card Making Day

Today is World Card Making Day.  So how did I spend this great holiday in the Paper Craft industry – well….making cards!  Yes, we had our own little World Card Making Day here in the Creative Studio.  Today we focused on Clean and Simple (CAS) cards.  Here is just one of three projects that were mass produced today.  Overall – we made sixty+ cards today.  Not bad!

I used the 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) for a well coordinated look for this simple, but fun card.

  • I used a different sized square punches to make the banner ends.
  • Paper Piercing is that great little something to add to your card to complete the look.  In the corners I added a pierced banner corner to compliment the DSP corners.
  • I popped my sentiment up using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it some depth and added a few Pearl Basic Jewels.

Have fun making your cards today!
